STC (Sawa) Balance Check
STC is Saudi Arabia’s largest network with 29 million subscribers as of 2025 and the widest coverage across the country, including rural and remote areas. The Sawa prepaid service is the most widely used SIM among expatriate workers. STC customers usually use *166# for a quick balance inquiry. For data balance, dial *8885#. To find your own STC number, dial *150#.
You can also check STC balance by SMS: send 166 to 900. For data balance by SMS, send 2220 to 900. The MySTC app works from any country over Wi-Fi, making it the correct option when you are outside Saudi Arabia. STC customer service: dial 900 free from your STC SIM.
To recharge STC balance using a voucher, dial *155*PIN#. Balance updates within seconds.

Mobily Balance Check
Mobily, formally known as Etihad Etisalat, serves 12.8 million subscribers and is the second-largest network in Saudi Arabia. If you are using a Mobily prepaid SIM, the fastest way to see your remaining balance is by dialing *1411#. For data balance, dial *1422# or *1411*1#. Both codes work. To find your Mobily number, dial *222#.
To check Mobily balance by SMS, send 1 to 1411. To recharge using a voucher, dial *1411*PIN# or send your PIN as an SMS to 1411. If your balance is very low, dial *430# to request emergency credit. Jawwy Balance Check

After logging in with your Jawwy number, your balance, data, and package validity appear on the home screen.
Jawwy supports eSIM on compatible iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models. Recharging is done through the app, with a minimum of 10 SAR. Jawwy does not support direct balance transfer between numbers. Jawwy customer service: dial 900 from your Jawwy SIM.

All in one place. No app needed for most networks.
______Quick Fixes______
Balance Check Not Working? Three Fastest Fixes
Most USSD errors in Saudi Arabia resolve within seconds using one of these methods. Try them in order before calling customer service.
Aeroplane Mode Trick
Turn aeroplane mode on, wait 10 seconds, turn off. This resets your network session and fixes most blank-screen USSD errors immediately without a full phone restart.
Try SMS Instead
STC: send 166 to 900. Mobily: send 1 to 1411. Zain: send BC to 959. The SMS channel works independently of USSD and succeeds when the dial code does not respond.
Use the Official App
MySTC, MyMobily, MyZain, and the Friendi app show your balance without any USSD code. Works on any internet connection including Wi-Fi abroad when you are outside Saudi Arabia.
Conclusion
Now you have a complete understanding of how to check your mobile balance across all major telecom networks in Saudi Arabia, including STC, Mobily, Zain, Jawwy, Lebara, Friendi, Salam, and Virgin Mobile. You also learned the correct USSD codes, SMS commands, and app-based methods used to check prepaid balance, internet data usage, recharge status, emergency credit, and even your SIM number.
This helps you avoid confusion when different networks use different codes or menus. Instead of guessing or trying multiple options, you can now directly use the correct method for your specific SIM and get instant results without needing internet access in most cases.
You also now understand that some networks like Jawwy work only through apps, while others rely heavily on USSD or SMS shortcuts. This makes it easier to manage your mobile usage whether you are in Saudi Arabia or traveling abroad.
With this guide, checking your balance, tracking data usage, and managing your recharge becomes faster, simpler, and more reliable in everyday use.
